FAQs

  • Optimizing the body’s testosterone production and addressing the side effects of low testosterone can be effectively achieved through testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). TRT involves the prescription of hormone supplements to compensate for below-average testosterone levels in a non-invasive manner. By supplying the body with regulated testosterone supplements, TRT helps restore testosterone levels to those experienced during younger years.

Despite reduced natural testosterone production, the body’s androgen receptors remain capable of utilizing the testosterone received through TRT. Under the supervision of certified wellness professionals, committing to a TRT regimen offers the potential to alleviate or eliminate many of the side effects associated with low testosterone.

  • Low testosterone, often referred to as low T, occurs when men have testosterone levels below the normal range for adults. Typically, adult men have an average testosterone level ranging from 240 to 950 ng/dL. If your testosterone levels drop below this range, it is considered an indication of low T.

  • In addition to Testosterone Replacement Therapy, we provide Peptide therapy as an alternative treatment option. Our healthcare professionals can provide guidance on which options may be most suitable based on individual circumstances and goals. We also have a wide referral network to get you care you require if we are unable to provide certain services to our patients. We do not provide pediatric services, surgical intervention, emergency services, or chronic pain management.

  • Testosterone, as the primary male sex hormone, plays a crucial role in various aspects of male physiology. It is responsible for the development of primary sex characteristics in males. Beyond its influence on sexual desire, testosterone affects numerous physical and mental factors.

    1. Sex Drive: Testosterone is known to contribute to a man’s sex drive or libido.

    2. Physical Factors: Testosterone influences the distribution of fat in the body, contributing to the storage of fat in certain areas. It also plays a role in red blood cell production, which is important for oxygen transportation, and helps to maintain muscle mass.

    3. Mental Factors: Testosterone can influence mental health and well-being. Low testosterone levels have been associated with symptoms such as fatigue, mood changes, and reduced cognitive function.

It’s important to note that testosterone also exists in women, although at lower levels. In both genders, testosterone has various physiological functions beyond its role in sexual characteristics.

  • The cost of treatment is determined by the specific needs of each individual and the recommended treatment plan prescribed by our clinicians. The initial TRT consultation carries a flat rate of $150, which includes a comprehensive physical exam. This flat fee may be applied to your subscription payment plan depending on the services you desire and are deemed appropriate by our providers. We offer discounted rates to military members, veterans, and first responders.

Medical weight loss plans start at $350 monthly.

Beyond the initial consultation, the cost can vary significantly based on the tailored treatment plan and duration of treatment required. Subscription plans or fee-for-service agreements are available for hormone replacement therapy, sexual health, wellness, weight loss, and concierge medicine. Aesthetic medicine costs are on a fee-for-service basis.

We do not process payments with insurance companies for our services. Although we cannot handle the filing process for you, you may be able to utilize flexible spending benefits to cover the costs of treatment.

It’s worth noting that insurance companies generally cover the cost of blood work, prescriptions, and diagnostic tests if they are performed by healthcare providers within your coverage network.
